Where You May or May Not Shoot...

These rules are a development of 

NRA RULE#4

Know your target and what is beyond.

  • You may shoot on any open range that is not under a ceasefire and that is suitable for your firearm.

  • Class III firearms should be used only on the two west most ranges of the west area.  One is uncovered and the other is covered.

  • You may not shoot on a range that has a sign indicating it is closed for maintenance.

  • You may not shoot on a range that has a sign indicating it is closed for use in a match.

  • You may not shoot on a range that is under the control of a Range Officer without the Range Officer's permission.

  • You may not detonate explosive charges on any range.  Only firearms are allowed.

  • Archery and slingshots use is OK.  Treat them as firearms for safety purposes.
