Precision Tactical Rifle
The Tactical Precision Rifle Match is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month on the East Range.
If the match is cancelled it will be posted on the Bolt Gun Nation page on Facebook.
- Daylight savings – spring/summer: sign-in and set up is at 7:30 and the match starts at 8:00
- Fall/winter after daylight savings ends: sign-in and set up is at 8:30 and the match starts at 9:00
- Cost: $5 per shooter
- Minimum caliber: .223
- Maximum caliber: 300 Win Mag not to exceed 3100 FPS
The course of fire is never the same from month to month and is designed to test the shooters abilities in many disciplines. The targets engaged are steel and paper varying in size from MOA or smaller with distances out to 800 yards.
A minimum of 60 rounds of ammunition is required.
No steel core ammunition is allowed. If it sticks to a magnet you can’t shoot it.

This is a year round match so dress accordingly to the season. Strict safety procedures are followed at all times. Any safety infraction will result in automatic DQ from the match. If you’re not sure about this sort of match and what it entails then plan to come and observe a match before attempting to participate. Match is open to all that have the appropriate equipment. The match is on a first come first serve basis.
