ARA benchrest rifle matches are very challenging and require specifically designed rifles. The matches are conducted under the rules and sanctions of the American Rimfire Association and are held at the east end of the west benchrest range. Match schedules are posted in the Zia calendar and the official ARA schedule (www.americanrimfire.com).
We have 11 benches and provide target stands and ARA targets for our matches which are shot at 50 yards. A club match consists of 4 targets known as cards, each card consists of 25 bulls which score 100 points, 50 points, 25 points, 10 points and the dreaded 0 points. The 100 point circle is 1/2″ in diameter! There is a 20 minute time limit for each card.
