Why does the membership system keep asking for my email and password?

This is usually caused by either being on a cellular device and/or using a “VPN” service. Turn off your VPN if applicable and be sure to have a stable internet connection.

I forgot my password.

There is a “Forgot Password” link on the login page (link).

I updated my account, but it changed back when I refreshed the page.

Be sure to scroll down and click Save Changes when updating information.

I passed the Annual Test and updated my account but can’t figure out how to pay for my membership.

If your Unpaid Invoices page is empty, then your membership has not been invoiced yet. This will happen automatically 14 days before you expire. If you want to pay early, send an email to support@ziarifleandpistolclub.net and ask to be invoiced.

Can I pay my dues with a check?

Yes, send an email to support@ziarifleandpistolclub.net asking for a mail-in invoice or give Lois a call at (505) 281-2800. If you get “Print Professionals”, that is her – leave a message.

I'm not very good with technology. Do I have to use the online system?

Call Lois at 505-281-2800 and ask for a paper renewal package.

What does a Zia membership cost?

As of March 2025, Zia annual dues are $175 for adults under age 65, $110 for adults 65 and over. We also have membership options for adding associates ($30) and juniors ($10) to your account (associates and juniors are limited to people who live with you). This is in addition to whatever you pay for your NRA membership.

Does Zia offer discounts for my NRA membership?

Yes, you can get really good pricing with the NRA if you use Zia’s affiliate link. This can used for new memberships or renewals (using your NRA member number).

The new member page says NRA membership is required to be a Zia member, but I don't like the NRA. Would accept a membership with an alternative pro-2A organization?

Sorry, being an NRA member in good standing is required to be a member of Zia. We are able to get a really good rate on a state-mandated general liability insurance policy by way of our NRA affiliation. This enables us to keep membership dues reasonable.

Does Zia rent firearms or sell ammunition?

No. Zia is a bring your own or come with a friend type of club.

Can I check out the range before I decide to join?

We do not offer public range tours, but chances are you could find a member to come out with if you ask around. We also have organized activities on the weekends where you can come as a guest of the activity chair – take a look at the calendar (it is linked in the main menu.)

Can I go to the range any time?

Members have 24×7 access to the range except for Wednesday mornings from 3AM till Noon (even night shooting is allowed in certain parts of the range.)

Can I bring guests?

Zia members can have up to 2 guests on the range with them. Keep in mind the hosting member is responsible for their guests safety and conduct.

What types of facilities do you have on the range?

We have multiple rifle ranges going out to 790 yards. We have a 100-yard tunnel, 2 plinking areas, three action bays, and a shotgun range.

Are fully automatic firearms allowed at Zia?

Yes, but only at the two “Practice Ranges” (Plinking Pits) on the far West side of the facility as they have high berms and soft sandy bottoms to better capture the rounds.
